I was in town with my family and we stopped at Texas Cafe for breakfast before going back to San Antonio. This was the best choice we could have made. The staff was beyond friendly and kind. They were extremely accommodating. I requested for one of their wraps with mushrooms instead of meat and they gladly fulfilled my request. The wrap was so tasty. My family also agreed that the food was extremely tasty. When we come back to visit we will definitely be stopping at Texas Cafe again. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Stop by you won’t regret it.

On Saturday, I visited with friends, and we were all eager to try out their offerings. We opted for the steak and eggs, while my friends enjoyed the traditional and chicken fried steak. Each dish was cooked to perfection, and served with a generous portion. The highlight, however, was the steak skillet - it was absolutely off the chain! Not content with just one visit, I returned on Sunday with my family, eager to share this gem with them. They were equally impressed by the delicious food and the warm, inviting atmosphere. The owner is down to earth and takes the time to greet everyone, which adds a personal touch to the experience. The service was impeccable, making us feel right at home. Knowing that everything is halal makes it even better, as we can enjoy the meal without any concerns. We are officially hooked on Texas Cafe! If you're looking for amazing food and a welcoming environment, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!
A friend and stopped and tried this place this evening. They were almost empty. I'm glad we did. The food was delicious. I got the chicken pesto panini and she got the chicken Caesar wrap. Both came with french fries. The sweet tea was great. No after taste. The bread they bring to the table was warm and smelled so yummy. It was delicious. They have wine and appetizers too. The place was decorated for Christmas but not overly. So cute!!!! Staff was welcoming and attentive but not overly either. You must try. Sign says under new management so if you've been here before, give them another try!!!! I think you will be pleased. They have different menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Good food and lots of it! Great place for breakfast or lunch. Got the eggs, bacon, sausage and cinnamon French toast - friend got the omelette and pancakes - both of us were very pleased.
My kids and I had the pleasure of having breakfast here on a Saturday morning. Everyone was so friendly and prompt. The food was phenomenal and you get a large quantity of food for the price you pay. We had pancakes, an omelette and also Nutella pancakes. My kids actually wanted to eat there again the same day!
1st visit to Texas Cafe Breakfast & Lunch. Clean and welcoming place to sit and eat breakfast. Wait Staff ensured we had everything we wanted and checked in frequently. The Pan Omlet was great. Hashbrowns cooked perfectly. Good tasting hot coffee and wonderful pancakes.
We came here because we happened to be in the area and decided to eat here for breakfast. It was around 830am so it wasn’t not very busy which was nice. The food came out quickly and it was really good. I had the avocado toast and my husband had the garden skillet. The coffee is lavazza and they kept it full and hot. It was affordable and really good food. There is one bathroom for women and one for men so if it’s busy that would make for a challenge. There is also very limited parking here so be advised when you pull into the lot. They share the parking lot with the skyrocket burger right next door. All in all we enjoyed ourselves and would recommend.
